When will the money reach my Spendbase account?

You can load funds into your Spendbase account via bank transfers using your IBAN (account number). The following types of incoming transfers are supported:
    • SEPA Credit: typically takes 1–2 business days.
    • SEPA Instant Credit: almost immediate, usually processed within seconds. Note: Transfers exceeding €100,000 may be rerouted to SEPA Credit, causing a delay.
    • Faster Payments: almost immediate as well, generally processed within seconds. Note: Faster Payments are subject to a transaction limit of £1,000,000.
    • BACS Credit: takes 2–3 business days.
    • CHAPS: same-day processing if submitted before the bank’s cut-off time.

Please note that each transfer scheme has its own limits, and exceeding these limits may result in the funds being processed via a different scheme, potentially increasing the time required for the money to reach your account:
    • Faster Payments: the limit for withdrawals (OUT) is £1,000,000 per transaction.
    • SEPA Instant: the limit for both incoming (IN) and outgoing (OUT) transactions is €100,000 per transaction.
For example, if a transaction exceeds the SEPA Instant limit, it will be rerouted to SEPA, which may delay the receipt of funds. To avoid delays, choose the transfer method that best suits your needs, considering timing, availability, and transaction limits.
