Overview of the Applications Page

The Applications page is where you’ll find a consolidated list of all software tools your company uses. It displays crucial information for each app, including:

  • App Name: The name of the software application.
  • Owner: The primary user or manager of the app within your organization.
  • Department: The department the app is mainly belongs to.
  • Members Detected: How many team members and who exactly are using the apps.
  • License Information: Details on the number of licenses and the plan name.
  • Costs and Spends: Financial data for each app and aggregate spending.
  • Pricing & Billing cycle: price for a subscription and what the cadence of your payments is
  • Renewals: the info on the next renewal including the date, countdown, last renewal in the series

This page leverages data from identity providers, direct API integrations, accounting systems, HRIS, and the Spendbase browser extension to present a comprehensive SaaS management tool.

Tracking Usage

  • Activity Tracking: Spendbase monitors logins from corporate email accounts matching the team's domain or any in-app activity (via direct API integration), counting this as the last activity.
  • License and Spending Insights: View license usage and financial details for cost management and optimization. spending info is available from integrated accounting/expenses software. License info is pulled from direct integrations with the app.
    NOTE: not all the apps support this license type of data in their public API's
