There are several ways to set up 2FA for your Spendbase account:
• During sign-up: you can enable 2FA as a step during the account creation process.
• From the settings: navigate to the settings > security section to enable 2FA at any time.
• During wallet activation: if 2FA wasn’t set up during sign-up, you will be prompted to activate it during the wallet activation process.
How to set up 2FA
When you choose to enable 2FA, you will see a popup titled set up authenticator app. This popup will display a QR code and instructions to complete the setup.
Follow these steps:
1. Open an authenticator app of your choice (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
2. Click add new account in the app and scan the QR code displayed on the Spendbase platform. If the QR code is not scannable, use the provided activation code to set up the account manually.
3. Once the account is created in your authenticator app, a 2FA code will be generated.
4. Enter this code into the input field on the Spendbase platform and click continue.
5. 2FA is now activated.
From now on, you will need to provide your 2FA code each time you log in, confirm sensitive actions, or access sensitive information.
