Submitting requests

Employees can submit requests using the procurement workflows set up by Admins.

Prerequisites for submitting requests:

  1. Admin should connect a workspace (Google/MS)
    1. we need it to have the list of employees who can send requests in the org
  2. create and publish at least one workflow
  3. all employees by default have access to Spendbase platform after connecting the workspace
    1. they can simply sign in with corporate SSO
    2. they do not have to register an account, simply sign in (no additional invitation, registration for having access to Spendbase team)

Submitting a Request:

  1. go to Procurement as a regular employee
  2. click Create request button
  3. select workflow in pop-up
    1. the list contains only published workflow by Admin
  4. click Next and populate the form
    1. Example fields: Request type, vendor, expected price, billing cycle, department, and due date.
  5. click Submit request button
    1. The request is now assigned to the approval flow defined in the workflow.
