Employees can submit requests using the procurement workflows set up by Admins.
Prerequisites for submitting requests:
- Admin should connect a workspace (Google/MS)
- we need it to have the list of employees who can send requests in the org
- create and publish at least one workflow
- all employees by default have access to Spendbase platform after connecting the workspace
- they can simply sign in with corporate SSO
- they do not have to register an account, simply sign in (no additional invitation, registration for having access to Spendbase team)
Submitting a Request:
- go to Procurement as a regular employee
- click Create request button
- select workflow in pop-up
- the list contains only published workflow by Admin
- click Next and populate the form
- Example fields: Request type, vendor, expected price, billing cycle, department, and due date.
- click Submit request button
- The request is now assigned to the approval flow defined in the workflow.
